Raspberry Kombucha (or blueberry, strawberry, etc.)

Raspberries are a delicious fruit with an abundance of health benefits. Rich in vitamins, antioxidants and fiber this berry makes a fantastic addition to your brew. Commercially, raspberry tea and kombucha is very common. You however, will be making this with a handful of fresh berries.


~ 1/4 cup of raspberries
~ 1 teaspoon of sugar, honey or even maple syrup (this is optional)
~ Kombucha, 1 quart

Making Raspberry Kombucha

~ Add your berries to your second fermentation jar
~ Fill your jar with kombucha, be sure to leave 1/2 inch of space from the lid
~ Secure your lid and let ferment another 3-6 days. Take care to make use pressure isn’t     building up too high in your jar.
~ Enjoy fresh or store in the refrigerator

Optional Add On’s

~Garnish with a sprig of rosemary, and add a squeeze of fresh lemon for some added depth of flavor.
